What do we mean by “business analysis”?
Some have unfortunately started to confuse Project Management with Business Analysis. Karmoxie is able to function in both roles, but wants to take this opportunity to clarify between the two.
Business Analysis involves working with you to identify needs that exist in your organization, and to discuss solutions that can be put in place to address those needs.
While Project Management is focused on the processes to ensure deliverables are produced, on time, within budget, and with the right quality, Business Analysis ensures that we are all on the same page as to what deliverables will actually help your company.
Some examples of business analysis:
- Assessing your current online marketing presence, and evaluating options such as websites, social media, and/or smart phone mobile applications. Not by gut feel but by examining data.
- Identifying area in which to automated your business
- Ensuring that the technical solutions being discussed truly meet the business needs
- Interviewing stakeholders to ensure that all the needs are considerd in new software
We will work with you to understand your business and the challenges you face.
Before engaging on a project with our clients, we like to sit with you, in your working environment, and get a sense of how your business operates. It is rare that we do not recognize an opportunity to reduce costs, improve productivity, or otherwise enhance your business.
In order to build custom applications to be used internally, or by your customers, we conduct interviews to assure that we are able to supply users with an application that truly meets its purpose and satisfies your needs.
